About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will help us build, maintain, and scale our DevOps infrastructure to support our expanding client base.
You will play a critical role in maintaining security, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance automation and operational efficiency. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can work independently, requires minimal training, and can mentor junior team members.
Requirements
What you will be doing:
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) with a focus on security, scalability, and efficiency.
- Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with SOC 2 Type 2 requirements and industry standards.
- Automate infrastructure and workflows using Terraform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and improve system reliability through observability and proactive scaling.
- Leverage AI-driven DevOps tools to enhance automation, incident response, and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to improve code deployment, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to grow internal expertise.
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering, ideally within a fintech or security-conscious environment.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS required).
- Strong infrastructure as code (IAC) skills, with hands-on experience using Terraform.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, experience with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
- Strong background in security and compliance, including SOC 2 type 2, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Solid scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash.).
- Knowledge of AI/ML-driven DevOps tools for automation and predictive analysis.

This is a full time position based in Canada. HQ is located in Vancouver, BC, but we’re remote friendly. Work visas will not be provided.
Salary: $110k – $140k / year
